As a routine we use an Endoscope coupled with a camera to examine all the patients, for documentation process and also easy understanding by the patient of his condition, all the while maintaining adequate hygiene and decontamination after every patient.

Diagnostic Nasal Endoscopy:
INTRODUCTION:
Nose is such a complex structure that an external examination is most of the times insufficient. With recent advances in lighting systems and optical instrumentation. Diagnostic Nasal Endoscopy is now a standard procedure done in advanced clinics all over the World.
PROCEDURE:
Nose has to be anesthetised (basically local anaesthesia) prior to Diagnostic Nasal Endoscopy and takes about 20 minutes. Unless patient is apprehensive this is a painless procedure, once recorded, the problem is shown and explained to patient. Time take 20 to 25 minutes, 20 minutes for anaesthesia, 5 minutes for examination.
PRECAUTIONS:
None. Walk in and walk out. Anaesthesia affects wanes off in half an hour. No dizziness or discomfort.
Video Laryngoscopy:
INTRODUCTION:
Throat is one area which is commonly affected not all throat pains are infections or cancers. In order to dispel these queries we use a 70° endoscope to visualise the voice box and upper area of food pipe and this is recorded and explained to the patient.
PROCEDURE:
The throat is anaesthetised with surface anaesthetic, so as to prevent the gag reflex (vomiting sensation on putting endoscope in mouth). Unless the patient is apprehensive this is quite harmless and simple procedure. Time taken 5 to 10 minutes, anaesthesia 5 minutes, procedure 5 minutes.

Otoendoscopy:
INTRODUCTION:
Ear is not just a hole in side of face but a major organ responsible for hearing and balance.
PROCEDURE:
No anaesthesia required and comfortable even in children.
